Announcing 2 great new speakers: Oren Michels and Jeremie Miller

by on

Last week we announced the initial list of speakers for Apistrat SF, and today we are very excited to be announcing two more great speakers:

  • Oren Michels, CEO of Mashery
  • Jeremie Miller, Singly Co-Founder

Oren Michels is the CEO of Mashery, which was recently acquired by Intel, and leads the team responsible for connecting 175 leading brands with 200,000 developers to build 62,000 live apps using APIs.

And we are also very glad to have Jeremie Miller on board again, who unfortunately had to cancel his participation in Apistrat NYC. Jeremie is co-founder of Singly and in the past helped found Jabber/XMPP.

See all confirmed speakers for Apistrat SF!

Who are you excited to see at the Apistrat SF? Would you like to share your API knowledge? Make sure you submit your ideas for API talks by the end of June.

Look out for more announcements on the program over the coming weeks! (And get your early bird ticket if you haven't done it yet).

It has been 2 months since the API Strategy & Practice Conference in NYC. The videos of the keynotes, sessions and panels are being published and the #APIStrat team is reflecting on what an amazing event it was.

We are all in agreement that the conference in New York City was an amazing success, and we want to do it again! So as a follow up to #APIStrat New York City, 3Scale and API Evangelist would like to announce #APIStrat San Francisco, October 23rd through 25th 2013 at the Parc 55 Hotel.

429 Too Many Requests Stage

by on

We received a lot of interest in speaking at the API Strategy & Practice Conference, "Too Many Requests". After we had to postpone the conference because of hurricane Sandy, we were able to added an extra room to the conference. We have add a stage to the new room, and called it the 429 - Too Many Requests Stage.

We don't have enough time to plan a 3rd track for the event, so we wanted to solicit your help.  Using the form on the 429 Too Many Requests page, you can now submit a topic for the 429 Stage, where we will be having 10-20 minutes talks throughout the two days of the conference. Once we have received enough requests, we will publish your submission to the website for voting by all attendees.

The best sessions will be scheduled on the 429 - Too Many Requests Stage, February 21st and 22nd. You must already be registered for the conference to submit, at this time the event is sold out and we can only accept talks from anyone who is registered.  Please make sure your email matches your registration.
